Description
To introduce the student to the formats by which scientific knowledge is stored and the methods by which it can be retrieved.
To introduce the conventions used in scientific writing.
To explain plagiarism and to instil an appreciation of the ethical aspects of scientific writing.
To develop the skills required for effectiuve oral presentation of scientific information
