Description

This module is designed to give students an introduction to the basic concept of bioprocessing and to provide students with training in a variety of skills required to study and work in a modern scientific environment.

Learning Outcomes

1. Describe the role of the bioprocess engineer in the bioprocessing industries
2. Prepare and deliver an oral presentation on a scientific topic
4. Perform simple calculations and draw graphs in Excel
5. Work effectively in a small group setting
