Description

Students will engage with teaching and learning of electronics and electric circuits through inquiry. They will learn about these topics themselves and learn about how this kind of learning can be used in the secondary classroom while incorporating different assessment strategies

Learning Outcomes

1. Implement teaching and learning by inquiry-based methods
2. Reflect on how scientific models can be developed based on assumptions, observations and inferences
3. Describe the behaviour of electric circuits qualitatively
4. Integrate assessment into teaching and learning
5. Present research in a variety of ways tailored to a specific audience
6. Develop teaching and assessment strategies to help second level students learn about electronics
7. Research societal issues related to electronics
