On completion of this module students will be able to:

·       to enable students to effectively communicate with learners in a teaching environment

·       to create awareness of a solution focused process and how to utilise it in an interviewing situation

·       to enable students to use effective networking skills

·       understand and demonstrate decision-making skills

communicate assertively.



Learning Outcomes

·       On completion of the module students will be able to:

·       understand how issues  may be presented in an interview

·        describe the key factors in  1 – 1 coaching  and mentoring

·       demonstrate skills in providing a solution orientated responses to learners needs.

·       master a range of intentional interviewing skills

·       Identify a range of decision-making styles

·       Demonstrate how effective communication skills in a core teacher competency
