Module Aims

7 To practice highly specialised written tasks in the target language 7 To achieve a high degree of fluency, accuracy and range of expression in written production in the target language 7 To communicate in writing with ease and confidence in a range of professional and social situations

Learning Outcomes

7 To critically analyse and respond to a variety of written texts (e.g. specialised correspondence) 7 To produce - as if for public consumption - various kinds of texts, e.g. questionnaires, short articles, reports, abstracts, book reviews etc. 7 To be able to present in writing arguments on complex matters
