To promote an understanding of the role and application of research in nursing practice.This module is expected to build on research related content covered in previous modules.A higher level of critique is expected from the student in this module in work produced for the assignment.

1. Discuss the relevance of research to nursing
2. Describe the various research methodologies and discuss their strengths and weaknesses
3. Critically read research articles
4. Discuss the ethical implications of research
