Develop critical analysis of research designs
Develop skills in literature reviewing and developing research proposals.

On completion of this module and following a period of personal study the student will be able to:
Develop the understanding achieved in the research and nursing practice module
Critically assess research utilisation and application in everyday nursing practice
Demonstrate understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
Demonstrate ability to critique research designs
Demonstrate understanding of the principles of developing a literature review and research proposal
Show understanding of the principles of reporting and disseminating research findings
