Description To introduce the student to a range of types of translation, with a view to providing a basic understanding of general translation practice. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Translate short newspaper articles from Japanese into English 2. Use appropriate background documentation, relevant to the task of translation (eg dictionaries) 3.
