Description Educators and trainers need support and education to make best use of digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Educators also need to develop their own digital portfolio to demonstrate their professional development. Participants will learn to design a storyboard and create educational multimedia resources to support their teaching and learning. Key skills will include video planning, production and editing, podcasts, animation, slide show, voice-overs and the creative use of other technologies. The educational multimedia resources will be developed with an understanding of learner needs and context, key design elements, and approaches to evaluate and improve on the educational resource. . | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Learning Outcomes 1. Visual Design for learning and online learning. 2. Develop Digital skills for the design of learning resources and activities. 3. Create multimedia resources/artefacts for the workplace e.g. all levels of the education system as well as for training, health, industry, government and state agencies. 4. Explain how multimedia resource can enhance learning and teaching. 5. Discuss forms of evaluation for multimedia resources/artefacts. 6. Reflect on own learning and recognise areas of success and areas for improvement. 7. Engage the imagination and creativity. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
