Learning Outcomes

1. Translate semi-specialised texts at an advanced level from Japanese into English
2. Select suitable texts for background reading
3. Generate electronic glossaries using on-line resources
4. Write grammatically correct, natural English sentences, which are stylistically appropriate to the context of the text
5. Critique published Japanese / English translations
